Why I chose Heritage: Ruth McGahey

When Ruth returned to Ireland with her husband, Andrew, they were hoping to find the perfect home to raise their family. After a friend tipped them off about a house she was familiar with that was up for sale, they finally found it. Seven years later that fortuitous tip-off, Ruth, Andrew and their three children are in situ in that home County Meath, where the pair have been lovingly renovating the five-bed home ever since.

After taking on the project to renovate hte home after buying it, Ruth, and interior architect, knew she needed the perfect paint to put the finishing touches to the home's centrepiece, the 'Good Room'.

Wanting to respect the rest of the home but bring warmth and new life to the Good Room, Ruth turned to the Dulux Heritage Range, “I found the range really usable. I think there’s a lovely depth to the colours, which attracted me to them.”
